…one essential thing is missing. A cooming soon page should inform the user of what he or she can expect.
…the pink at the bottom is too gross. Particularly on a big screen (1600+). I think you should change it to something like
#FC7A9Cand apply some kind of distortion to weaken it’s effect further. Otherwise the users view will directly go down to the empty area. As of the distortion you could use this image or of course create something that you think fits.I would have liked/had envisioned a centered layout on the screen (horizontally as well as vertically), thus eliminating the pink lower portion and need for a pattern background. I must confess that failing to do this is simply laziness, and something I should not permit myself when designing, even if it is for my own projects.
Also, a mention of things to come is also a good idea, as I myself have stumbled upon a "coming soon" page which such a reference and bookmarked in hopes of a future visit. Thanks again for visiting & sharing your keen web design insight with me
